Events, Meetings, & Conferences

The support sand promotes opportunities for scholars and teachers of Gower’s works to meet, connect, and share their work and experiences. It hosts a Gower Congress every three years, and sponsors (ususally two) sessions at teh annual International Congress for Medieval Studies (ICMS).  The society also periodically sponsors special sessions at other conferences , and publicises, via its membership email list and the John Gower Newsletter, work on Gower presented at other venues throughout the world.
